We are a not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) organization. We do not receive funding from national, county or city governments, nor do
we receive any funds from the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). Many people believe the ASPCA shares a
portion of their fundraising with other shelters, this is not true; however, they do wonderful work with legislation and educating the
public on a national level.
