Meet Jersey! Today is her debut and she is looking very adorable - and festive - for the occasion! Jersey came to the Shelter just a short while ago as an owner surrender. She was accompanied by her five siblings - each as cute or cuter (if that's possible) than she is. Their dad is a boxer and their momma was a lab-rottweiler mix. The babies have been put through the drill - with puppy shots, de-worming, kennel cough vaccination and all the good things that puppies need during their first months of life. They're not finished yet however - and their new guardians will have to see that all puppy vaccinations are completed and that yearly updates are adhered to - as recommended by their veterinarian. The puppies appear to be healthy and happy. They love to play and are learning lots of things from each other. They also love attention and luckily our staff and volunteers give them lots of that. The puppies are still a bit young for their first rabies vaccination. New guardians should check with their veterinarians regarding age for spaying and neutering. These puppies, as with all animals adopted from SPCAs, humane societies and rescues in New York State must be spayed or neutered - it is a law and there are never any exceptions. The adoption donation for Jersey and her siblings is $156 which includes age-appropriate vaccinations, kennel cough vaccination, flea/worm treatments, microchipping, licensing, a refundable $50 spay/neuter deposit and more love and attention than you can put a price on.

Zeus is a lab-chow mix who really needs a new home. He came to the Shelter via the Dog Control Officer and we found that he had heartworm. He has since been treated. He is also neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. He gets along with other dogs - but don't know how he feels about cats. He's a great boy. Come to the Shelter to visit with him!

Jax is about 5 months old. He is an owner surrender because his family just didn't have enough time for him. He is a lovable boy who needs exercise! He is up to date on his puppy shots and is ready for his new home.
