Scouty
Scouty

Age: 6 Months Spayed/Neutered: Yes

Scouty is Rambo's brother. He was also in foster care while recovering from an upper respiratory infection. He is now in excellent health and ready to go. He is up to date on vaccinations, FIV/Leukemia negative, neutered and microchipped.

Jafar
Jafar
Breed: Savannah Exotic Sex: Male
Age: 2 Spayed/Neutered: Yes

Jafar came to the Shelter just a few days ago - but he is too special to keep under wraps. This picture just doesn't do this boy justice and he must be seen to be truly appreciated. Jafar is two years old. He is up-to-date on all vaccinations, is FIV/Leukemia negative, has been vaccinated against feline kennel cough, is neutered and has been de-clawed. Jafar has everything he needs to move on from his temporary Shelter home into a new and loving home. Jafar has been described as follows: he was purchased from a breeder and has lived indoor only - so that is an absolute must - especially given that he is de-clawed. He is playful but can be very shy. One of the words used to describe Jafar is "aloof" - but what cat isn't at times! Jafar has not lived with other animals and he tells us he would like to keep it that way. There should be no really young children in Jafar's new home and he will appreciate respectful older children for housemates. We are told that one of the attractions of Jafar and the Savannah breed in particular is that they produce much less allergens. We've not done the research on that. As far as we know, Jafar is a really healthy boy and the breed has the reputation of being a hardy one. Jafar is available for adoption right now. He's a beautiful cat - he needs to be checked out!

Jake
Jake
Breed: DSH Sex: Male
Age: 2 Months Spayed/Neutered: No

Jake came to the Shelter as a tiny kitten - he is now about two months old. He was found by a trucker who took pity on him and brought him here. Jake has recovered nicely. He is being brought up to date on vaccinations, has been flea and worm treated and is negative for FIV/Leukemia. He's not yet neutered but he must be. Jake is available for adoption right now.

Milner
Milner
Breed: DSH Sex: Male
Age: 3-4 Spayed/Neutered: Yes

Milner is 3-4 years old is part of an "exchange" program. That's a very long story! Milner is up to date on his vaccinations, has been treated for worms, fleas and earmites, has been vaccinated against feline kennel cough and he is neutered. He is available for adoption right now!

Dodger
Dodger
Breed: DSH Sex: Male
Age: Adult Spayed/Neutered: Yes

Dodger came to the Shelter in a very sickly condition. He was immediately taken into foster care where he recovered nicely. There may be some damage to one of his eyes - but he doesn't know that. He's just as normal as he could be. He is very playful and needs a family to take him home. Dodger is FIV/Leukemia negative, up to date on vaccinations, and uses his litter box faithfully.

Thelma and her kittens
Thelma & Kittens
Breed: DSH Sex: Female
Age: 10 Months Spayed/Neutered: No

Thelma and her kittens came to the Shelter as owner surrenders. Thelma's sister, Louise, was also surrendered at the same time. Both girls, who are actually still kittens themselves, are the sweetest things on earth and both are very eager to go on to a new life. Of course, Thelma is waiting for her babies to become independent of her which should be very soon. There are five drop-dead gorgeous kittens and they range from black and white to a calico. Thelma has been tested for FIV/Leukemia and is negative and will also be spayed as soon as the kittens are weaned. She has been vaccinated against feline kennel cough and has been wormed. Thelma will be available for adoption once she is spayed and the adoption donation for her will also be $120. The babies will be available for adoption within a month.
