Macintosh OS Settings
There are 3 control panels to enter settings in, please ensure your settings are as illustrated below.
Modem Control Panel:
Verify your modem is the one selected from the list of modems.
TCP/IP Control Panel:
Verify your TCP/IP settings are as illustrated below. At times, a connection may work better should the primary and secondary settings be switched for both the Name Server and the Search Domains.
Remote Access Control Panel:
Verify your Remote Access settings are as illustrated below. Please use lowercase in this Control Panel. Please use a local access number as well!
Click the OPTIONS button. In the TAB SCREENS, please verify the following settings...
To Connect to the Internet:
Open the Remote Access Control Panel.
Click "CONNECT".
The Status Box will indicate "CONNECTED" when your modem is connected to the server modem.
Launch your favorite Web Brower. Click here for Netscape settings. The settings for Netscape are similar to the settings to other popular browsers.
